When Baby Birds went to Cosatto
Cosatto launched their new 2022 collection in June 2022.
There were lots of new patterns and even a new pram that is exclusive to Baby Birds and other independent stores.
What is new at Cosatto?
3 new collections. Wildling – a Paloma Faith design.
Midnight Jungle – a stunning mix of blues and green tones on a leaf print.
Dalloway – Pink floral print on various Cosatto prams and products.
The main feature pram for us was the Wow 2.
Now available in 7 colours. It can be matched with Cosatto prints in the car seat and all the accessories.
The Wow 2 in Nature Trail Shadow was our particular favourite. It is an exclusive design and is no ordinary pram. Not only is a stunning print – not too wacky but a subtle design with a gorgeous interactive print to keep baby happy in the cot & seat unit.

This really is a game changer, it has everything you need in a travel system. There are optional coordinating accessories like the bag & footmuff which can also be purchased in a bundle.
*The Acorn car seat – the latest i-Size newborn car seat from Cosatto. Suitable from birth-15 months.
It complies with the latest R129 safety regulations however is compliant with i-Size when used with the Acorn car seat base.
The Acorn is only compatible with the new Cosatto Acorn car seat base. The main features include a lovely new firm hood design and extra side impact protection. It also uses eco- friendly, sustainable fabrics.
The Acorn is available in all the new eco-fabrics Dalloway, Nature Trail Shadow, Midnight Jungle, Wilding, Wilderness, as well as Charcoal Mr Fox and Bureau.
The new Acorn fabrics are built with high performance energy-absorbing materials for maximum protection. The car seats even have UPF100+ protection in the hood.
It offers washable covers, easy, one hand simultaneous harness & headrest adjustment, so no fiddling rethreading.
The shell of the car seat is a reinforced construction with a strong protective shell.
The Acorn is rearward facing from newborn (40cm) up to 15 months (87cm).
At Baby Birds we recommend that you encourage your child to rearward face for as long as you can – 6 years. It’s for their own safety. It is far safer to face the rear in most car seats.
You may fit the Acorn car seat with a seat belt – especially useful when travelling by taxi or a car that does not have isofix, however we always recommend use of a base where possible. At Baby Birds we recommend adding a car seat base – it eliminates car fitting error and in turn ensures safer, easier journeys when out with your children. The Acorn car seat simply clicks onto the base in one easy motion. No need to use seat belts. Your newborn baby will be cushioned in the safest mode of transport available – i-Size.

At present (August 2022) the Acorn car seat attaches to the following Cosatto prams using the relevant multi-fit car seat adaptors. It is not compatible with any other adaptor, like the Hold or Port adaptors.

Nature Trail Shadow
The latest independent only colourway from Cosatto and our favourite!
Why it our favourite Cosatto print? The Nature Trail Shadow is a subtle print of fox, leaves, mushrooms & trees with a wooded feel. The Independent only Wow 2 – this has the best of both worlds. The Wow 2 seat unit and the Continental suspension with swivel wheels, It’s a truly incredible pram.
What is the difference between the Continental and the Wow 2. The main difference is the size and the bounce.
The Continental is a much bigger chassis yet it has a better suspension. Yet the Wow 2 weighs 8kgs and the Continental 9kgs. The pram and accessories bundle consists of the pram, carry cot, footmuff, rain cover and changing bag and is priced at £899.95.

Dalloway
Featuring a pink, floral and bold print. Toning pinks, purple, blue and lilac. The interior continues the wild flower print but on a lighter background, which contrasts perfectly.

In addition this colourway is also available in the new All in All Rotate iSize car seat. The Dalloway is available in September 2022.
The Midnight Jungle
A combination of luscious greens, teals and blues in a leaf print with a gold accent.
The Wow 2 chassis is a sea blue tone which picks up the colour of the leaves perfectly.
The interior is the same stunning print on a lighter background. Following on from Cosatto’s trademark printed pram interiors to help baby’s stimulation.
