Hi, everyone :)
My partner and I were having a long conversation while taking a rest from walking about getting around with a lumpy bump!
I feel mean for laughing but whenever we go for a walk, I say to her it's more of a waddle, but it is a very cute waddle, so I am off the hook!
I asked Becky if she would be able to give any tips for any mothers to be to help them be more comfortable and she replied with... no...
Well, she did, but it was more along the lines of you do whatever you can to become comfortable. Whether this means building a fort out of pillows and get on top of it or making sure they are kept topped up with tasty drinks frequently, it's whatever makes YOU comfortable. At the end of the day, no two pregnancies are exactly the same so what works for one may not work for another.
As pregnancy gets on, it's increasingly less likely that Becky goes for long ventures but she still aims to go for little walks every day to keep both her and bump active.
We've recently been seen by a health visitor who gave Becky an elastic wrap with velcro on to put around the bottom of bump for some support for the back which has definitely helped her feel a lot more comfortable.
Sitting in the car has been the biggest hassle. All the unavoidable potholes and stupidly tight corners make the journey incredibly uncomfortable for Becky. Fortunately, we don't have to drive that much to get anywhere and the maternity unit is just down the road!
How are you getting on with your little bump? Or how did you when you were pregnant? Let us know how easy or hard getting around was by leaving a comment in the section below.
