Week 31 - Hello! My name's James. It's nice to meet you :)

Hello! My name's James, it's nice to meet you!

I've not worked for Baby Birds for that long but I feel I have settled in rather quickly.
Not only do I now work for a company in the nursery industry, my partner Becky and I are actually expecting our first child, a little boy, in September.

We are now at 31 weeks and it's getting ever closer to the day we get to see our little man. I cannot wait!... but I can wait at the same time...

Don't get me wrong, I am super excited but I am starting to get a little nervous! There's progressively more and more for me to think about and do.

All the things I need to get ready and things I need to prepare for prior to the arrival of my little bundle of sleeplessness (or so I've been told!). We haven't even thought about names yet!

Personally, I think I've done quite well! I have most of the essentials sorted, such as his cot, the travel system and ISOFIX base. I've managed to get hold of this really cute bedding set for him which is looking really comfy. I hope he likes it...

When it came to the travel system, we didn't know what to do. There are so many different options with different packages, different prices and loads of different colours!
We wanted something that wasn't too costly as we weren't working with a super large budget here, but I wanted to make sure that it was well built, good looking but most importantly, had a good guarantee in case something went wrong. A little piece of mind goes a long way when you're having a baby!

After looking high and low and at almost every different brand, we finally made our choice to go with the Cosatto Giggle 2!

Their colourful designs, price point, excellent build quality and of course, the 4-year guarantee as standard were the key points for me that led me to their door.
Now, I knew I wanted a Cosatto Giggle 2... so I bought one!

I won't go into too much detail right now, but watch this space and I will write a separate entry shortly, specialising purely on the Giggle 2, its features, pros and cons and why I love it!

As I am starting this blog about the journey to parenthood at 31 weeks, please let me know in the comments below if there's anything you'd particularly like me to write about.

Follow me, my partner Becky and Baby Birds each week for our adventures, escapades and product reviews!

Until next week

James :)
